Joseph Salmon was transported for ‘Stealing from the person’. Joseph was married with 1 child – wife Mary at London Road. 6/4/1841: TOL 1842: Free Certificate 19/11/1864: Stealing a coat – 3 months with hard labour. No marriage found in TAS. 18/02/1880: Joseph died at the New Town Invalid Department of Senilis. His occupation was listed as a ‘coachman’, he was buried at the Cornelian Bay Cemetery, Paupers section.
