Family connections for Joseph (Sampson) are: SAMPSON Joseph (Sampson alias Taylor) was tried at Nottingham Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 8 1802 after a voyage of 7.5months on COROMANDEL.>>> [Some details taken from this Website] [Noted an Elizabeth (Sampson) is recorded as born in 1802-no parents given] .. >>>Joseph (Sampson) was an emancipist when he married Elizabeth (Coker/Earle her second (2of3) marriage) on 7 5 1808 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. Elizabeth (Coker) was born about 1773. She married firstly (1of3) Jonathan (Earle) in 1796 in England & produced 4children. She arrived in NSW with her family on 12 6 1804 after a voyage of 5.5months on EXPERIMENT. She married thirdly James (Kibby/ey) emancipist on 11 3 1811 at St Matthews CofE Windsor & produced 4children. She was recorded in 1822 with her family at Liverpool.
