Samuel's ship seems to have been SURPRIZE. Samuel was born about 1764?. In 1786 he was employed as employed as cheesemonger servant and shopman Whitechapel when he stole 6shillings from employer. At Old Bailey he was sentenced to 7years and placed in Newgate prison in 1787 before being transferred to STANISLAUS hulk in Thames in 1788. He was on SURPRIZE to Port Jackson in Second Fleet.
