Samuel's Offences. Samuel Moss, for a game trespass on 27th ult., at Greenham, on land in the occupation of Mr. Charles Fielder; fined 2£. 7s. 6d., including costs, but not paying the same, was committed for two calendar months hard labour. Reading Mercury, 4 Dec 1847. Berks Midsummer Sessions. Henry Corderoy, 28, and Samuel Moss. 21, were convicted of stealing tame rabbit at Greenham, the property of Henry Baggs. Each three months' hard labour. Reading Mercury, 24 June 1848. Berks Lent Assizes. Samuel Moss, 21, for breaking into the dwelling-house and stable of Thomas Smith, at Greenham, and stealing a several ducks and fowls. Reading Mercury, 24 Feb 1849.
