Convict Notes
At Bury County Sessions, which did not terminate till Wednesday afternoon, the following prisoners were tried, in addition to those mentioned in our last paper : — ... Samuel Turner, for stealing two bushels of pease, from the granary of Eliz. Ellis, of Hunston; Bury and Norwich Post, 27 July 1825. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- On Monday last seven male convicts were removed from our gaol, to be put on board the hulks at Portsmouth, namely — Charles Catton, William Mansfield, Robert Canham, Wm. Hurst, Robert Hurrell, Wm. Ottley, and Samuel Turner ; all of whom were sen tenced to be transported for seven years. Bury and Norwich Post, 10 Aug. 1825
