Old Bailey Proceedings Online September 1806, trial of SARAH PITCHER (t18060917-31). SARAH PITCHER, Royal Offences > coining offences, 17th September 1806. 455. SARAH PITCHER was indicted for that she on the 22d of July , previously, knowingly, wittingly, and without lawful excuse, had in her custody and possession, a certain forged note, purporting to be a bank note for the payment of 2 l. she knowing it to be forged . To this indictment the prisoner pleaded GUILTY . Transported for Fourteen Years .
