Sarah Upcroft has been committed to the Castle (by T. B. Evans, Esq.) charged with having received a large quantity of goods stolen from Mr. Moss, of Attleburgh, in January last. Norfolk Chronicle, 14 October 1826. Lent assizes at Thetford. Sarah Upcroft, aged 38, was convicted having received 300 yards of printed cotton and sundry other goods, the property of Geo. Moss of Attleburgh, knowing the same to have been stolen and was transported for 14 years. Norfolk Chronicle, 31 March 1827. . Removed from the Castle.—To Woolwich, Sarah Upcroft, for 14 years transportation. Norfolk Chronicle, 5 May 1827.
