Johanna Scanlan was convicted at Limerick on 15/10/1850 and received a 10yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania)on the 'Blackfriar', departing 24/01/1851 - however died at sea on 19/02/1851 (the only death on the voyage).
