Monday, Charles Scott was committed to the Borough Gaol, by J. Pooley and Bramne, Esqrs. charged with having stolen a man's waistcoat, the property of the Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St. Margaret. Ipswich Journal, 3 Nov 1827. Ipswich Borough Sessions. Charles Scott for stealing a man's waistcoat from the parish house in St. Margaret's, was sentenced to be transported for 7 years. Ipswich Journal, 15 March 1828.
