Baptised 9 Jan 1820 in Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire, England, the son of James Scott and his wife Sarah (nee Bryant). 8 siblings. Previously convicted of larceny at the Salisbury Borough Sessions on the 5 Apr 1841 and was sentenced to 3 months in prison. Died of senility at the Invalid Depot in Launceston.
