From Co Tyrone Ireland single protestant who could read. Sallow pitted complexion brown hair and eyes. Note certs 39/1345 and 40/1385 Margaret Scott in the New South Wales, Australia, Settler and Convict Lists, 1787-1834. Sent to the female factory New South Wales, Australia, Tickets of Leave, 11/7/1839 no 39/1345 for Margaret Scott. Allowed to stay in the Windsor area New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930 for Margaret Scott 27/12/1839 Barracks Windsor New South Wales, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 22/8/1840 cert no 40/1385 Commercial Journal and Advertiser (Sydney, NSW : 1835 - 1840) View title info Sat 1 Feb 1840 Page 3 POLICE OFFICE. Margaret Scott, holding a ticket of-leave for Windsor, was brought before their Worships by warrant, from Parramatta, charged with being at large from her district, without a pass. The Bench perceiving by the date of the warrant, that the prisoner had been confined in Parramatta gaol since the 27th December; (a period of 28 days) waiting to be forwarded to her district, admonished and discharged her.
