Bristol Quarter Sessions, Monday, John Scourse, Wm. Mank and John Badder, for stealing were to be transported for fourteen years. Thomas Short for stealing brass ; Benjamin Price, for stealing copper; John Kinnersley, for stealing a silver can ; Eliz. Scull, for stealing a watch James Taylor, for stealing silk shawl ; John Watts, for stealing a shawl and apron; Wm. Sloane, for stealing a coat; Wm Webber and Charles Stocker, for stealing a hat and Wm. Chaplin, for stealing a promissory note, to be transported for seven years. Cheltenham Chronicle, 13 Aug 1818.
