Aug 5. - Arrived the barque Nereus, Capt. Allen, from Port Louis 24th June, with 2288 bags sugar, and 3 cases stationery. Passengers - J Duncan, Esq., G Greenaway, Esq. and Lady, and 2 prisoners. Arrived per Nereus, 6 Aug 1831. The undersigned hereby cautions the Public against harbouring or employing Dennis Sessna, (an emancipist,) who has broken his agreement entered into with me, as a whaler; as any one so doing after this notice, will be subject to the penalties of the Whaling Act.
