THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE OLD BAILEY DANIEL SEWELL. Theft; grand larceny (to 1827). 22nd April 1789. 335. DANIEL SEWELL was indicted for stealing, on the 28th of February , a linen sheet, value 2 s. a pair of blankets, value 2 s. and a rug, value 12 d. the property of Thomas Isaacs ..... PRISONER's DEFENCE. I was walking along, and the little boy said I had stole his daddy's things; I know nothing of it. GUILTY . Transported for seven years . Tried by the first Middlesex Jury before Mr. RECORDER.
