Yarmouth. Sept 9. At these Sessions ... and Ann Sharman, for stealing several silver table and tea spoons, &c. the property of Mr. D. Jones, were both sentenced to be transported 7 years.— Norfolk Chronicle, 11 Sept 1813.

Feb 19 1822. Sir, I most humbly beg leave to state for your humane consideration; That I have an only son, a prisoner of the Crown, in the name of Robert Sharman, in Government employ at George Town, Port Dalrymple, whose character will bear the strictest scrutiny for honesty, sobriety and industry, he having resided with Mr Wilson the Chief Constable at George Town, from his arrival in this Colony whom he refers to for his character, she therefore most humbly solicits the favor of an order to take him off the store and permission for him to come to Sydney to his mother, the first consequence for which indulgence, she will ever be in duty bound to pray, Ann Sharman. --------------------------------------------------------------------- From F.
