TICKETS of Leave have been granted to the undermentioned persons, on the occasion of the celebration of His Majesty's Birthday. Michael Shaughnessy, 79, Minerva. Hobart Town Gazette, 24 Aug 1832. -------------------------------------------------- Marriage Permissions 79. Michael Shaughnessy, per Minerva, and Mary Connor, per Mary, Date of permission, 17 March 1839, Approved if the clergyman be satisfied. https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD37-1-2p246j2k Marriage. April 9 1839, in the Cathedral chapel, according to the rites of the holy catholic church, Michael Shoughnessy, and Mary Connor were married by James Cotham. Witnesses were William McKenzie and Esther Pratt.
