Jane Shaw (although record states her proper name was 'Margaret Todd', a married woman - she stated she had never been married!) was convicted at Co. Down on 09/10/1849 for Burglary. Life sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Blackfriar', arriving 29/05/1851. Ship Surgeon's Report: very good
