William Shaw, per Pestonjee Bomanjee 2, tried at Hobart, on 13 May 1872 for absent without leave, served 6 weeks, native of Yorkshire, 43 yrs old, 5 feet 6 inches high, dark brown hair, F.S., residue sentence remitted. Tasmania Police Gazette, 28th June 1872, p108.
