Ireland & became a butcher. He married Mary (Hagan/Hargin/s/Hagin/s/Hardy) in about 1818 at Glenbeigh Kerry county Ireland. He was tried for sheep stealing at County Cork, sentenced perhaps to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 11 1834 after a voyage of 3.5months on BLENHEIM & in Bathurst in 1842; he was Protestant dark ruddy complexion dark brown/grey hair hazel eyes; he was employed by Mr (Douglas). He became a farm labourer & farmer for Mr (Aitken) & Mr Thomas (Arkell) at Limekilns Charlton. He was issued his Certificate of Freedom No.33/87 on 18 2 1833. He was issued his Conditional Pardon in 1847 & his Ticket of Leave before 1849, after which he applied for his family to be brought to the colony free which was granted; his wife & 3youngest children arrived in 1849 on PANAMA-in 1853 he paid part of passage fee for daughter Mary.
