Colonial Conviction: By Sydney Bench, 21 July 1831, for Stealing canvas from the Commissariat, 3 year sentence. Returned to Sydney, 18 May 1835. Description: John Shea, native place, Cork, age 30, 5 ft 4 ½. Fair comp, brown hair, bald, blue eyes, catholic.
