Cornelius Hickey , a Cooper by trade was proceeding to work before day on the morning of the ?th Dec.and passing the Public house of .M‘Carthy, they perceived a shutter down, and a pane of glass broken; the prisoner Harrington, was at the corner of the house, and ran off; another man in company with Hickey, pursued, and overtook him. They then gave alarm and discovered Shea in the house, and the prisoner Harrington having his hat, cravat and other articles belonging to him. .some spirits were also taken, and more that was in a cask  was allowed to run about the shop. His Lordship addressed the Jury at some length, after which, they returned a verdict of Guilty.
