Cork Assizes Thomas Sheehan, a country lad, apparently about nineteen, was given in charge, for forcibly violating the person of Mary Cotter, young girl of fifteen years of age, near Macroom, the 17th of March last. Guilty, but recommended to mercy. Dublin Evening Post, 20 Aug 1833.
