Family connections for Ann (Shein) are: SHEIN/SHEINEY Ann (Shein/Sheiney) was tried at Buckinghamshire Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 4 1806 after a voyage of 9months on WILLIAM PITT. She had a relationship with Thomas (Ivory his first relationship). She is recorded in 1806 as concubine with Thomas (Ivory). [Some details taken from this Website] Thomas (Ivory) was born about 1750. He was tried at Southampton Assizes Hampshire, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 3 1803 after a voyage of 6months on HMS GLATTON; he was Protestant. He became an Innkeeper. He is recorded in 1806 as having his Ticket of Leave & with Ann (Shiney) concubine, He married secondly Elizabeth (Crouch her third (3of4) relationship) emancipist on 1 5 1812 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He is recorded in 1814 as landholder with Elizabeth (Crouch). He died in 1815 or (as Thomas (Ivery), on 29 1 1820 age70 & was buried at St Johns CofE Launceston.
