Original info given was confusion with his father: Nathan Shuttle was 21 when convicted. He was granted a certificate of freedom 17 Apr 1832 and permission to marry Mary Ann Cooper on 15 Nov 1836. Unclear if the marriage took place, as she applied to marry someone else in 1838 under her maiden name
