Family connections for Isabella (Sidewell) are: SIDEWELL Isabella (Sidewell) was born about 1770. She was tried at Newcastle Assizes Northumberlandshire in August 1803, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 4 1806 after a voyage of 9.5months on WILLIAM PITT. She had a relationship with Thomas Davis (Mansfield his third relationship) whom he later married. She was recorded in 1806 & 1811 with her partner/husband. She married Thomas Davis (Mansfield on 11 11 1807 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. She was recorded in 1814 on stores with her family. She died as an emancipist on 4 9 1827 age57 & was buried at, as (Mansfield), at St Phillips CofE Sydney. [Some details taken from this Website] Thomas (Mansell/Mansfield) was born about 1756/9. He was tried at Surrey Assizes in September 1787, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship MATILDA. He was recorded in 1802 with Ticket of Leave no.194 sentence expired. He was Free by Servitude by 1803 & had a first (1of3) relationship with Ann (Buller). He had a second (2of3) relationship with Ann (Sutherland her first relationship). He is recorded in 1806 with his partner as a bricklayer. He was recorded in 1811 with his wife. He was recorded in 1814 on stores with his wife & child (possibly Hannah (Mansfield)) as constable. He was a carpenter when he died on 25 4 1828 age72 at Benevolent Asylum father of perhaps 2children & was buried at St James CofE Sydney.
