Hat manufacturer of 52 Webber Street, Southwark Convicted of stealing 4 hats from Thomas Christy, Hat Makers of Gracechurch Street London. Was sentanced to 14 years transportation and sent to Tasmania aboard Bordaster on 7 September 1835 and arriving in Tasmania on 13 January 1836. Tasmania convict number was 2130. His brother in law, Edward Hubbard, Mary Ann Silk's brother, had also been transported to Tasmania in 1821.
