Prisoner discharged from H M Gaol during the week ending 10 Jan 1872 & 6 Jan 1872. Robert Simkins, per Moffatt 3, F.S., tried at Hobart for assault, sentenced to 1 month & 7 days, native of Lancashire, 54yrs, 5 feet 7 1/2 inches high, dark brown hair, blue marks centre of forehead.
