Those prisoners who had been convicted during the Commission, were now brought and received the following sentences from the Hon. Justice Jebb:— William Nugent and Timothy Duff, for highwav robbery, to be hanged. William Simpson, for stealing a mare, &c., to hanged. Hopes of commutation of punishment from death to transportation, were held out to Simpson by the Judge. Laurence Tyrrell, for a highway robbery near the Pigeon-house, to be hanged.
