This offence: Stg a Looking glass, once for stg money, served 18 months, again for a gun.




Bristol Quarter Sessions. Thomas Skidmore was found guilty of stealing a looking-glass, the pro. of Robert Gibson. Certificates of two former convictions having been read, he was sentenced to Seven years' transportation. Bristol Mirror, 23 Oct 1830.




in VDL was assigned to Lt Davis on his farm "The Lawn" on Derwent River near New Norfolk. Got Certificate of Freedom in 1837. Moved to Melbourne some time between 1837 and 1844
