Friday se’nnight was committed to Wakefield house of correction, by R. A. Athorpe, Esq. Peter Skipwith, a recruit in the 9th Regiment of Foot, for stealing sundry articles of wearing apparel from John Clayton, innkeeper, of Tickhill. Leeds Intelligencer, 1 Dec 1789.
