Robert Slack was a married with two daughters, with a third daughter born after he left England aboard the Equestrian. His crime was that of stealing a leg of pork. He received a conditional pardon on 16th November 1852. I can find no trace of him after that time. In the 1880s his daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and his wife came to live in New South Wales, Australia. His wife died 11 weeks after her arrival in Australia.
