Transcript states age 17 at the trial of Thomas and his brothers (William and John SLATER) in 1846. Disembarked, with brother William, from the Marion at Port Phillip, 25 Jan 1848, as a participant in the exile scheme instituted by Lord Stanley, British Colonial Secretary.




Convicted: 17 Aug 1846 with a William Slater Aged 17, Trade: Tailor, Crime: Receiving Stolen Goods, Pentonville Millbank and Parkhurst Prison, Arrival 25 Jan 1848 at Port Phillip Bay
