Tasmanian Description Record https://libraries.tas.gov.au/Digital/CON23-1-3/CON23-1-3/CON23-1-3-P061 No 305. William Slocombe, age 18, Painter & Glazier, tried Somerset, 12 Aug 1820, Life, per Medway 1821, native place, Bristol, C.P. 195, Feb 12, 1831. The following convicts have been removed from gaol, and put on board the Justitia hulk, in the river Thames, viz. Isaac Bond, John Middlecott, John Wilcox the younger, Thos. Cuinea, John Wilkins, John Smoothey, George Elliott, Robert Hancock, William Breen, William Slocombe, and Alexander Wright, for life; Henry Hancock and John Wilcox, for fourteen years; Wm. Evely, Robert Dyer, John Seaman and Benjamin for seven years. They had been scarcely an hour on board hulk before draft of 60 took place for New South Wales, and being included, in that draft, they were immediately removed to the transport Dick, for the place of their further destination. Taunton Courier, 25 Oct 1820.
