Family details for this Ann (Smith) are possibly: SMITH Ann (Smith) was tried at probably Old Bailey, sentenced to 7years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 5 1804 after a voyage of 6months on EXPERIMENT. It may be she who had a relationship with George (Higginson his first relationship) & produced 1child. [Some details taken from this Website; where 2xAnn (Smith)s are found] George (Higeson/Higginson) was born about 1774. He was tried for stealing 2geldings, on 8 1 1794, of Thomas (Wilson) at Old Bailey on 19 2 1794, sentenced to death commuted to Life, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 2 6 1797 after a voyage of 10months on GANGES. He was Free by Servitude by 1805.>>> [Some details taken from this Website] George (Higginson) & Ann (Smith) produced 1child: 1.George (Higginson) was born on 3 9 1805 & baptised on 13 10 1805 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He died on 29 12 1805 age17w & was buried at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He as George (Higgerson-senior)) married Mary (Newbury) on 27 8 1810 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. He was Free by Servitude by 1812. He produced 12children in his lifetime. Noted an Ann (Smith/Price EXPERIMENT 1804) is recorded as marrying Joseph (Greenhatch) on 30 3 1820 at Christ Church Castlereagh & having 3children-the ship here seems incorrect as she is recorded also as on MARIA 1818. She was born about 1783 & he about 1788. They were both Free by Servitude by 1820. She died on 5 7 1827-age recorded as 33-& was buried at St James CofE Sydney.
