Ireland. ... After the bodies had been suspended the usual time, they were cut down and sent to Navan for dissection, agreeable to sentence. The following convictions also took place:— Thomas Lynch, for highway robbery—death; to be hanged on the 7th of April. Mathew Campbell, for mail and highway robbery—death ; to be hanged on the 7th of April. Peter Snow, otherwise Coyle, for highway robbery—death; to be hanged on the 7th of April. Michael Rutledge highway robbery—death ; to be hanged on the 7th of April. Bartholomew Ryan, for burglary and robbery—death ; to be hanged on the 14th of April. Edward Maguire and Patrick Monks, for burglary and robbery—death ; to be hanged on the 14th of April. Bryan Smyth, for burglary and robbery—death; to be hanged on the 14th of April. Thomas Sweeney and James Ford, for highway robbery—death; to be hanged on the 14th of April; George M’Quinlan and James Reilly, for highway robbery—death; to be hanged on the 14th of April.
