Worcester Journal Worcestershire, England 6 Jul 1837: Charles Smith, 19, weaver, Thomas Edwards, 19, weaver, for stealing two caps of the value of 6s., on the 7th of April, at Dudley, the property of Richard Lakin. Smith was also indicted for stealing a leg of pork.__Smith pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to be transported for fourteen years ; Edwards seven years. Thomas Edwards arrived per 'Lord Lyndoch' 1838. Stated This Offence: Stealing Cloth Caps, prosecutor Mr Regan, once 6 Months for Garden Robbery, again for Chestnuts. I Month and 3 Months for fish. 15/3/1844: TOL 8/4/1844: Married Margaret McFie (Hector 1835) at Hobart.
