The convict indentures state that Elizabeth Smith was 25 years old. She could read; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of County Dublin. She was a house servant and dairy maid. Elizabeth was convicted of stealing fowls at Dublin on 26 November 1836 and sentenced to 7 years. She had three prior convictions and served 3 months, 5 months and 6 months. Physical attributes: Height 4 feet 9 inches; complexion pale, freckled and pock pitted; hair dark brown and eyes dark grey. Transport number 122. Prisoner number 121-38. Received Certificate of Freedom in 1847 (47/165).
