John Smith is listed on the NSW 1828 census at Botany, living in the household of Aron Barnett and his wife Ann , and other labourers, their residence is at Saltpan Creek, Mary (Ripley?)'s farm. Jhon Smith, age 20, G.S. (ship-Bizzior, 1828, 7yrs) labourer, protestant.
