16/4/1830 Chester chronicle, England: Robert Smith, - Convicted of burglary in the dwelling house of. John Smith, Pendlebury. There were three other indictments for Smith - transported 7 years. Robert Smith was on Norfolk Island and was involved in the uprising on the 10th January, 1834 – he was shot and killed by the military on the island.
