The business of the Wilts assizes commenced Salisbury Monday. Three prisoners were convicted, and received sentence of death, viz. ... and Robert Smith,  for breaking open the house of William Lawrence, Alderbury, in the day-time, no person being therein.— They were all reprieved Oxford University and City Herald, 25 March 1809.
