John Snell and Jane Grant were my GGG Grandparents I am looking for other relatives my name is Lynette Burke




John Snell was born at Dalwood, in Devonshire. He was the son of Robert Snell (a basket maker)and Esther Quarrell. During the 1840s John Snell also served as a Constable in Goulburn, New South Wales. He firstly married Eleanor Haffey (a convict) in 1834. No issue. He secondly married Jane Grant (a convict) in 1841. They had issue of Richard (1842-1847), Robert (1845-1911)and Margaret Esther (1847-1937) who married George Alexander Edwards. John Snell was buried in the Queanbeyan Cemetery.
