Born Buckland. Convicted of stealing £36 in gold and silver coin, silver watch, and five purses, the property of Joan Talbot. Co offender James Courtney (Equestrian 1845). John Holmes (Thomas Arbuthnot 1847) convicted of receiving the stolen money.
