19/10/1839 Canterbury Journal, Kentish Times and Farmers’ Gazette Kent, England:
EAST KENT QUARTER SESSION
John Solly, 36, charged with having stolen, on the 15th June, a lamb, the property of Edward Gibbens, sen. at Minster, in the Isle of Thanet - Transported ten years.

Previous convictions: In prison for vagrancy.
John was single.

24/12/1840: John Solly died at the General Hospital, Hobart.
