James Sparkes was 27 years old on arrival in VDL. He was 5'4ΒΌ" tall, sallow complexion, brown hair and whiskers (small), grey eyes, brown mole inside left arm. Married: Wife Maria and 1 child at native place of Trowbridge. 1832-33 Musters: Assigned to Mr. T. Cobb 1835 Muster: Hospital 10/2/1836: James died at HMC Hospital and was buried on the 15/2/1836.
