Mary Ann's parents were probably David and Anna Spencer. On arrival in Van Diemen's Land, Mary Ann was assigned to Andrew Cameron and married him on 23/7/1832. They had at least 2 sons, one of whom may have been fathered by Thomas Bock. Cameron was declared lost at sea and Mary Ann then married Thomas Bock, colonial artist, once his wife in England died. The couple had 5 sons together. On Bock's death Mary Ann married James Ion Wilshire and they had at least 2 daughters.
