Kirkdale Sessions. To be transported for Life.— Spencer, 19, Thos. Blundell, 25, and Thomas Gore, 30, for robbing William Jones of two handkerchiefs and eighteen shillings in silver. The prisoners belonged to a flat on the canal, and seized the prosecutor as he was walking in the evening along the bank of the canal, near Chisenbale-bridge ; they forcibly carried him on board a flat in the canal- basin, and there perpetrated the robbery.— Lancaster Gazette, 16 Feb 1828.
