Native of Cork City. Single. Catholic. Laundress house maid. Spouse: m 1832 Daniel McFarlane per Boyne (1826) Died 1851, at Naomi River. --------------------------------------------------- Cork Assizes. Johannah Spillane was indicted for stealing a cloak, the property of William Geary—guilty sentenced to 7 years’ transportation. Clonmel Herald, 2 Sept 1829. -------------------------------------------------- Marriage Permissions Daniel McFarlane, per Boyne, age 28, 7 years, Bond, and Johanna Spillane, per Forth (2), age 27, 7 years, Bond. Date of permission, 25 May 1832, Maitland, Mr J. Wood. -------------------------------------------------- Daniel McFarlane served as a police constable in Maitland district for several years. His various appointments were documented in the newspapers. Colonial Secretary's Office, Sydney, 19th September, 1831. HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the following alterations in the Police of the Colony, viz. To be Constables under the Government Order No. 12, of the 23d May, 1831.
