At our Quarter Sessions, which did not conclude till Wednesday afternoon, the following prisoners were tried before the Rev. N. Colvile, D. D. the Chairman: — John Mold and James Elmer, for stealing 8 pigs, from the premises of Mr. Henry Lambert, of West Bergholt ; William Spooner, for stealing a quantity of malt, the property of John and Wm. Garrard, of Bures; and James Cardy, for stealing 3 pigs the property of John Cook, of Assington, were sentenced to be transported for 7 years. Bury and Norwich Post, 24 Jan 1821. -------------------------------------------------- Friday last the following six male convicts were removed from our Gaol to be put on board the hulks at Portsmouth : — James Elmer, John Mole, James Cardy, Thomas Peacock, William Spooner, and John Murphy. Bury and Norwich Post, 14 Feb 1821.
