Hobart Town Gazette, 15 Sept 1827 List of Runaways 399 Stagg, or Haverfield, Joseph, 5 ft. 5, brown hair, hazel eyes, aged 27, farmer's labourer and ploughman, tried at Somerset March 1821, sentence 7 years, per Lord Hungerford, born at Walton, Somersetshire, absconded from Mr. Thomas Triffit, New Norfolk 23d August last, woman, hearts and darts on right arm, Same Reward. (£2).
