M. Ann Dynon on 16 Oct 1868 in Westbury, Tasmania
The following is from the Tasmanian Archives Office: His occupation was that of a Farm Laborer. He was convicted of raping a 14 year old girl named Maria Slack. He was tried at the York Assize on the 9th July 1846. He was sentenced to a Life imprisonment. He was 19 years old, His religion was Church of England and he could read and write. He had a shallow pale complexion, brown hair and eyebrows, and grey eyes. He had a round head and visage, medium forehead and no whiskers, a large mouth, medium cocked nose and a small dimple chin. He was transported to Van Diemans Land. He sailed from London on the 25th of October 1846 on the ship "Pestonjee Bomanjee," it's second trip to Australia. The ship was built in Dumbarton in 1835 and was a 595ton barque. The ship's master was John Austin and the surgeon was colin Arrnott browning.
